Bring the Opel Corsa OPC to America as a Buick

Similar in style to the Fiesta ST and Renault Clio RS, the Opel Corsa OPC is a performance-minded hatch that looks as badass as it will run. Powered by a 1.6-liter turbo-four that generates 207 horsepower and allows for a sub-seven-second 0-to-60 time, it appears to be a whole hell of a lot of fun.
So you know what General Motors ought to do? Slap three shields on it, call it the Buick Corsa OPC, and sell it in America.
GMC-Buick VP, Duncan Aldred, has talked about the importance of expanding the Buick lineup and occupying spaces that its competitors won’t touch. Buick will become the only premium brand to offer a convertible when it launches the Cascada this year, and Aldred recently discussed his desire to bring the Opel ADAM stateside sometime in the future.

So why not just go completely crazy and sell a hot hatch? This would not only serve to further expand Buick’s appeal to a younger demographic, but it would also increase the brand’s fun factor like 1,000-fold. Bring America a Buick Corsa OPC and a Regal Sports Tourer and just watch the money pile up.
