Buick to Display Models Within Bracket Town™ presented by Capital One

The Sweet Sixteen begins this week, and when the dust settles, we will be just a few steps closer to the NCAA National Championship. While nothing is certain as it regards the two teams who will be playing for it all in North Texas (we’re putting our money on Dayton and Arizona), it is known which automaker will be present for the last dose of March Madness: Buick, who will have a display within Bracket Town™ presented by Capital One.

Buick will bring its entire 2014 model lineup to Arlington for the April 5 Final Four games and the championship game that will take place the following day.

Speaking of which, if the tournament is called March Madness, but the best bits occur in April, should the Final Four fall under the March Madness umbrella, or should it receive its own designation? How about April Apotheosis? Discuss.

The 2014 Buick Regal and Regal GS will be focal points of the display, particularly because of their performance-oriented nature, which is in some ways similar to the performances college basketball fans have witnessed thus far during the first two rounds of the tournament.

“With a standard 259-horsepower turbocharged engine, the all-weather traction of available all-wheel-drive, refined ride and quiet interior, it’s sure to surprise many – just like eventful moments of March Madness,” said Sandra Moore, Buick marketing director, in the brand’s press release.

At the Buick display within Bracket Town™ presented by Capital One, fans will be able to participate in the Regal Surprising Performances Challenge. There, they will be able to participate in a skills challenge in order to achieve the top time, which will be displayed on a scoreboard. Regardless of what your time is, the Regal Surprising Performances Challenge gives credence to the old saying that it’s all in how you finish: using time-splice photography and camera perspective techniques, participants will have a one-of-a-kind photo taken of their lane-driving finish, which will then be available for immediate downloading and sharing.
