Buick Encore Sees 18th Straight Month of Sales Growth in June
Buick sales were down 18.1% in June, as every model but one in the brand’s lineup was down double digits.
The bright spot, as ever, was the Buick Encore. Sales of the Encore vaulted 33.4% with 5,526 units sold versus 4,142 units in June 2014. Through six months, the Encore is also the only vehicle in Buick’s lineup to have made positive sales movement overall; Buick has sold 30,549 Encores in 2015 versus 23,657 units through June 2014.
June marks the 18th consecutive month of year-over-year sales gains for the Encore.

The Enclave was Buick’s second-biggest volume seller, but a delivery total of 5,186 units reflects a sizeable 16.4% decrease for the month. To date, Buick has sold 28,070 Enclaves, a 6.9% year-over-year decline.
As has been the case throughout 2015, Buick’s lineup of cars—the LaCrosse, Regal, and Verano—continued to struggle in June. The LaCrosse sold 2,972 units (down 44.3%), Regal sold 1,528 units (down 12.3%), and Verano sold 2,319 units (down 41.8%).
Through the first half of the year, Buick’s US sales are down 6.3%.
