Buick was the only U.S. brand to list among the top 10 brands on Consumer Reports’ 2018 Most Reliable Car Brands list. The survey covers over 640,000 vehicles owned by CR subscribers. Consumer Reports bases the scores on the average predicted reliability scores of each brand’s entire auto lineup.

On a related note, not a single U.S. model landed on the list of the 10 most reliable vehicles, which spotlighted the Subaru BRZ/Toyota 86, INFINITI Q70, Kia Niro, Lexus ES, Lexus IS, Audi Q3, Toyota RAV4, Lexus GS, Toyota Prius V, and Toyota Prius C.

According to Detroit News, Buick’s Cascada and Envision models greatly contributed to the brand’s successful rating on the 2018 Consumer Reports list. The 2018 Cascada’s bounty of lavish perks and personalized options make it a great pick for those looking for a luxury convertible. And, with the consumer demand for compact SUVs, it’s no wonder that the crowd-pleasing 2018 Envision is holding its own amidst contenders.

Here’s a brief glimpse of the protective technology features that contributes to each of these Buick models’ dependability.
