Buick February Sales Boast 19 Percent Gain
Things for Buick are looking up after the announcement that the brand’s strongest product lineup in history has helped increase sales 19 percent since February 2006 with a 2 percent increase Buick February sales this year in comparison to last.
The reasoning for such a major sales boost? The newly redesigned 2014 Buick Regal, which saw a 49 percent increase in sales year over year, establishing its fifth consecutive month of retail growth.
“Consumers have responded very positively to the Regal’s updates,” said Tony DiSalle, vice president of Buick marketing, in Buick’s press release. “Adding available all-wheel-drive has allowed us to reach many new customers. The new advanced safety technology, Intellilink infotainment, and other features including the standard 259-horsepower turbocharged engine are also big draws.”
Along with the Regal, the Encore has helped, completing its first full year of sales. Over 31,046 of the small luxury crossovers were sold, increasing sales by 89% year over year. With their lineup continuing to improve, the increase in Buick sales is sure to continue throughout the years.
