The Avenir concept was one of the most popular vehicles revealed at the 2015 auto show in Detroit. Buick said in a statement that the wing-shaped design of the grille will become common among the brand’s vehicles by 2018.
“The Avenir concept shattered expectations of what a Buick could be and the 2017 LaCrosse promises to do the same,” Buick chief Duncan Aldred said in a statement. “Its expressive design represents a break from convention and highlights the progressiveness in all new Buick models.”
The 2017 LaCrosse will be constructed with a redesigned chassis and will also sport a five-link rear suspension that should improve the sedan’s handling.
Buick has confirmed the newly styled 2017 Buick LaCrosse will be showcased at the Los Angeles Auto Show that starts on November 18th. The 2017 LaCrosse is expected to hit car dealerships at some point during the second half of 2016.
