The Buick brand performed exceptionally well last month in its home market of the United States, with sales up 8 percent over July of 2013. Specifically, retail sales were up 4 percent. This marks the best July that Buick has seen since 2006. (It was also the best July since 2006 for Buick’s sibling brand, GMC.)

Particularly, the Buick Regal saw great success. Total sales shot up 5 percent over last July, which marks 10 straight months of year-over-year sales gains for the Regal. January to July sales increased 35 percent over the same span last year.

Consumer Reports even recently praised the Buick Regal for its contributions to the luxury segment, to which Duncan Aldred, U.S. vice president, Buick and GMC, responded, “For Buick to be compared alongside some of the most recognized luxury brands is an indication that our products are stronger than ever. Our leading customer service, combined with our updated product line up focused on styling and performance continues to surprise customers as they visit our showrooms.”
