Summer is coming fast and to meet it, Ferrari has launched another online configurator. Like the Ferrari GTC4Lusso configurator the automaker launched just a few weeks ago, this version allows anyone to build and customize their own Ferrari 488 Spider. If you’ve ever wanted to build your dream car, even if you can’t afford it, the time has come!

Users can change nearly every option on their dream ride, starting with the supercar’s color. With more than a dozen paint options, it’s hard to get past the first step of your creation. If you manage to settle on a color, taking the sun’s reflection into account with the draggable arc, you’ll find yourself faced with another challenge: rims.

Not only can you pick from six different rims, you can even change the color of the brake caliper. With two more additional options, a spare wheel kit and carbon fiber hub cap, Ferrari has certainly raised the bar for customization and that’s only two steps in.

Finishing out the exterior are well over a dozen body components and additional options. Once you’ve picked through each and every piece of carbon fiber, it’s time to move to the interior which is seven steps all on its own.

Starting out with an overwhelming amount of colors, stitching, and carpet options, you could easily design your own Ferrari 488 Spider all day. The next step, seat style, is a little simpler with five options and a few additional options to choose from.

The inside of the doors is by far the simplest design step in the configuratior with only two options. Both options are selectable, eliminating the 20 minutes of comparing before coming to a decision.

With all the time you saved on the doors, you can afford to compare and contrast the dozens of color options for the steering wheel and tachometer. Like the steering wheel and tachometer, the central tunnel, luggage compartment, and rear roof offer over a dozen colors to choose from.

Hundreds of clicks and a few hours later, you’ll (hopefully) arrive at the last step: accessories. With only a handful of options to choose from, you’ll be on your way to the final page, summary, in no time!

The only option you can’t change is what’s under the hood. The Ferrari 488 Spider packs a 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that pumps out 661 hp and 560 lb-ft of torque. With a 0-to-62 mph (100 km/h) time of just 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 203 mph, most enthusiasts probably won’t want a different engine anyway.
