Cadillac has announced not only that it is renewing its sponsorship of the American University in Dubai’s annual Original Narrative student film festival for a third year, but also that it will host a workshop during the event geared toward providing creative minds with an insight into its “Fashionably Early” campaign.

According to Cadillac, the workshop will hold about 30 UAE university students pursuing degrees in film and advertising. Attendees will get a behind-the-scenes look at the “Fashionably Early” campaign devised by Interesting Times and to promote the new 2016 Cadillac ATS-V.

“The goal of this highly-engaging workshop is to equip the next generation of creative talents with the tools needed to effectively translate artistic visions into full-fledged communications solutions,” said Cadillac Middle East Advertising Manager Heba Amin.

Attendees will then be given a brief that challenges them to submit a campaign idea in storyboard form by February 18th. Subsequently, a panel of judges consisting of Cadillac’s Marketing Manager and the Creative Director of Interesting Times will choose one grand-prize winner. The winner will receive a $10,000 budget with which to create a 30-second TV spot for Cadillac’s social media use in the UAE.
