Cadillac ATS 2.0T Delivers Awesome Torque Output
Also offers Lane Change Alert and Lane Keep Assist
The all-new 2015 Cadillac ATS coupe and sedan are both available with a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder engine. This baby will deliver an incredible torque output of 295 lb-ft. On top of that, the Cadillac ATS 2.0T will throw down 272 horsepower. In fact, according to GM’s luxury arm, the Cadillac ATS 2.0T will be one of the most power-dense engines not just in the brand lineup but in the entire industry.
“The ATS is already the most agile vehicle in its respective classes,” said David Masch, Cadillac ATS chief engineer. “The additional torque works to further improve on an already dynamic vehicle.”
Also offered on the 2015 ATS are Lane Change Alert and Lane Keep Assist. While Lane Change Alert works to warn drivers of any quickly approaching vehicles in neighboring lanes, Lane Keep Assist monitors the driving of the vehicle, working to keep the car in its intended lane at speeds of 37 mph or more. These technologies will be available on the Performance and Premium Collection models that are equipped with the Driver Assist Package. Drivers can also get Lane Change Alert via the Luxury, Performance, and Premium Collection models with the Driver Awareness Package.
The 2015 Cadillac ATS will also be available with a stout 3.6-liter six-cylinder engine.
