Do you love the Cadillac CTS-V sedan and dream about one day being able to drive it?

Well, Microsoft is helping to turn that dream into a reality with its recent announcement that the new Cadillac CTS-V will be included in the upcoming Forza Horizon 3 video game.

For those people who are unfamiliar with Forza Horizon 3, it’s a racing video game that was developed by Playground Games and it takes place in a fictional environment based on the continent of Australia. Up to four people can play a co-operative multiplayer campaign in which there are 350 vehicles to choose from.

The vehicles to be featured in the video game have been announced in a series of installments, with the fifth announcement being the one that American performance car enthusiasts have been waiting for, as it revealed the high-performance Cadillac CTS-V will be included in the game, along with other GM models such as the 2014 Chevy SS and 1967 Chevelle Super Sport 396.

This isn’t the first time the Cadillac CTS-V has been featured in Forza. A few weeks ago, it was announced the 2016 CTS-V would become available to download in Forza Motorsport 6.

So why is the Cadillac CTS-V such a popular video game car? Well, the real life version comes equipped with a 640-horsepower supercharged V8 engine that allows the sedan to zip from 0 to 60 mph in less than four seconds. However, with a starting MSRP of more than $83,000, it’s unrealistic to think everyone will get a chance to drive this vehicle in real life, so taking it for a spin a video game seems like the next best option.

Forza Horizon 3 is scheduled to be released on September 27th. It will be available for the Xbox One and Microsoft Windows.
