Cadillac has announced that Dan Creed will be its new Vice President, Sales Operations, effective January 16th. In his new position, Creed will head up North American sales and services and create new sales strategies aimed acquiring new retail customers.

Creed will report directly to Cadillac President Johan de Nysschen.

“Dan has a solid track record in the luxury sector and will provide valuable input to the crafting of Cadillac’s sales and service strategy,” said de Nysschen. “As a member of the Cadillac leadership team, I look forward to partnering with Dan as we continue to elevate our brand experience within the premium automotive sector.”

Creed replaces Jim Bunnell, who is moving into an as-yet-unannounced executive position within General Motors North America.

Creed’s 18-year career in the automotive industry has seen him taking on a number of key roles for BMW North America LLC, up to and including his most recent position as its eastern region vice president. In that role, he oversaw 95 dealerships, which makes him an ideal candidate to head up de Nysschen’s plan to pull in younger customers by focusing on the dealership experience.
