Cadillac Truth + Dare Driving Experience to Demonstrate Autoliv’s Night Vision Tech
Autoliv Inc. announced this week that it has been invited to demonstrate its Night Vision tech during the Cadillac Truth + Dare driving experience.
Keep ‘Em Rotating: Why you should rotate your tires regularly
Cadillac Truth + Dare is a single-day experience that invites potential customers aged 21 or older to enjoy a completely complimentary, up-close-and-personal demonstration of the form and function of every vehicle in Cadillac’s 2016-17 lineup. This includes the all-new CT6 sedan, which features Autoliv’s Night Vision.
Night Vision utilizes a front grille-mounted infrared camera to make road hazards visible even in complete darkness and through smoke or fog. If an object is detected and the vehicle maintains a trajectory that puts it in danger of a collision, a beeping tone or pulsing of the safety alert seat notifies the driver to change course.
The Truth + Dare experience takes about two and a half hours to get through, and pre-registration is strongly recommended as all events are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. Other technologies demonstrated throughout the event include the CT6’s Bose Panaray audio system, the CT6 and XT5’s active safety system, and the awe-inspiring power of the ATS-V’s Twin Turbo engine.
“We are thrilled to be a part of the Cadillac’s Truth + Dare event,” said Stuart Klapper, Autoliv Night Vision Managing Director. “This is a great opportunity for Autoliv to exhibit our Night Vision Active Safety technology to Cadillac’s guests, and are honored that Cadillac has selected Night Vision to be presented amongst other cutting-edge technologies at this event.”
Upcoming events in the Truth + Dare Cadillac driving experience include:
- Houston, Texas – NRG Park – July 28th-31st
- Dallas, Texas – Globe Life Park – August 4th-7th
- Los Angeles, California – Santa Anita Park – August 18th-21st
