Cadillac XT5, CT6 Continue to Grow Sales in October

Cadillac sales in October totaled 13,948 vehicles in the United States, down 9.4% year-over-year from the 15,391 vehicles delivered in October 2015. Retail sales decreased 7.9% at a total of 12,244 vehicles delivered.

Sales of the new XT5 crossover totaled 4,989 units, bringing the latest Cadillac’s to-date sales total to 26,685 units. Sales of the SRX dwindled to 118 units, putting combined sales of the SRX and XT5 approximately 900 units behind the SRX’s 6,020 units in October of last year.

Sales of the Cadillac CT6 totaled 1,316 units in October, bringing the sedan’s to-date sales total to 6,707 units. Sales of the Cadillac XTS, the brand’s outgoing large sedan, were down 28.3% at 1,464 units.

Sales of the Escalade increased 8.2% at 1,988 units delivered, while sales of the Escalade ESV rose 10.7% at 1,453 units.

Sales of the Cadillac ATS and CTS were both down more than 30% with respective totals of 1,593 units and 1,024 units.

Through 10 months, Cadillac’s US sales total 133,234 units overall and 118,424 units at retail, down 5.6% and 5.9%, respectively. Overall sales of the Escalade are strong at 18,119 units and 12,009 units for the Escalade ESV, up 7.8% and 4.7%, respectively.
