Cadillac’s sales around the globe last month were up 16.9% year-over-year, totaling 23,241 units sold. The impressive November total was enough to push Cadillac’s total through 11 months to 245,572 vehicles sold, a 5.6% increase over the total through November 2014.

“Approaching the year-end period, Cadillac’s increasing product substance and disciplined growth strategies are building momentum,” said Cadillac President Johan de Nysschen. “In the U.S. market we are commanding higher transaction prices, with lower incentive and inventory levels. It means the customer is recognizing and placing a higher value on the excellence of the new generation of products from Cadillac. This is a strong foundation for our upcoming expansion in 2016.”

Cadillac’s impressive November was made possible by growth in six of its seven major markets. Sales in the United States were up 1.8% at a total of 13,390 units sold; sales in China climbed 56.9% to 7,935 units sold thanks to the release of the new Cadillac ATS-L; sales in Canada were up 8.7%; sales in Mexico were up 66.3%; sales in the European Union and Russia were up 57.9%; and sales in every other market but the Middle East were up 33%. Sales in Europe were down 12%, but that amounts to a difference of only 41 models year-over-year.

To date, sales are up in almost every major market, and sales are down only 0.1% in the United States, meaning Cadillac could still potentially see a year of growth across the board.
