The Callaway Camaro SC652 includes a new supercharged engine and a 3 year/36,000 limited powertrain warranty.

There are only 10 Callaway Camaro SC652s being made. Will you be one of the lucky 10?

This past week, Callaway announced prices and specs for their take on the legendary Z/28: the Callaway Camaro SC652. We’ll let you in on a little secret: this thing is beastly.

How beastly? Try 652 bhp and 620 lb-ft torque. Callaway’s press release specifies that their take on the all-new Z/28 will benefit from the same lightweighting techniques, 427 cubic-inch dry sump engine, aerodynamics package, Pirelli® tires and Brembo® brakes as the production model.

Only the Callaway Camaro SC652 adds an Eaton TVS2300 LS7 Supercharger, liquid-to-air intercooler, fuel injectors, model-specific components including intake and exhaust systems, unique badging and plaques, and a 3 year/36,000 limited powertrain warranty.

The Callaway Camaro SC652 takes full advantage of the 7.0-liter V8 and the 6-speed manual transmission to which it is mated, allowing this monster to climb up from 0 to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds and make  a quarter mile in about 11.5 seconds (at 124 mph).

Yep. You can say wow all amazed-like. It’s okay. That’s what it’s for.

The Callaway Camaro SC652 will only be limited to 10 production models, so you might want to step on it if you want one. Interested parties should call 860-434-9002 or visit www.CallawayCars.com.

Here’s our question for you: if the production model Camaro Z/28 could lap Nurburgring in 7:34.4, how quickly do you think Callaway’s monstrously upgraded machine would lap the world’s most famous course?
