Last year, General Motors dominated the North American Car and Truck/Utility of the Year awards, decided by 50 journalists from the U.S. and Canada. The all-new Corvette Stingray took the high honors for the Car of the Year while the redesigned Silverado was lauded as the Truck of the Year. GM will, however, have a harder time securing a victory in both segments this year, as only one GM vehicle appears on the cars list (Cadillac ATS Coupe & V).
