Captivating Car Colors: Which 2018 Models Are Available in Green?
It’s become a yearly tradition. For the past couple years, we’ve compiled a list of all that year’s vehicles offered in factory-painted shades of green. Due to the overwhelming positive response from readers, and many who voiced frustration at the lack of green cars available today, we’re returning with our 2018 list.
This year, there are even fewer automakers offering green exterior paints; plus, automakers who hadn’t offered green in the past (like Buick, Chrysler, Hyundai, and Mazda) haven’t added the color to their lineup. In fact, green is so rare in 2018 models that it’s more common to find orange or yellow available! How surprising that what used to be such a popular car color is nearly absent in 2018.
While the following list is admittedly not exhaustive, it’s indicative of the declining amount of green exterior paints offered on new vehicles. Unless the model has a “young, funky” reputation, don’t expect green to be one of the available colors; stoic, bland hues like grey are all you’ll find.
