Clegg is remembered for her position as vice president of Labor Relations, in which, back in 2011, she led GM’s negations for the UAW-GM National Agreement.

“Cathy’s proven track record in key labor and manufacturing roles and her passion for innovation will be an asset to GM and her team,” said Jim DeLuca, executive vice president, GM Global Manufacturing. “Her demonstrated commitment to employees and our customers will help ensure our continued focus on safety and quality.”

Kurt Wiese will be taking over Clegg’s Global Manufacturing Engineering vice president position. Wiese has been working in Manufacturing and Manufacturing Engineering for 36 years and is being promoted from executive director in Global Product Development.
