Replicate the look of driving a Jeep Wrangler with this new Snapchat lens

The perfect Snapchat filter for Jeep enthusiasts, or Metalheads

Last year, Jeep proclaimed that April 4 would henceforth be known as Jeep 4×4 Day, a holiday to celebrate the freedom that Jeep vehicles provide to drivers. Today marks the second annual Jeep 4×4 Day, and as such, Jeep has developed a unique way for enthusiasts to share their love of all things Jeep.

For the next 24 hours, Jeep fans will be able to use the “Jeep Hair, Don’t Care” Snapchat lens.

Celebrate the Jeep Culture: The Life and Culture of Driving a Jeep

Available throughout the day on April 4, the “Jeep Hair, Don’t Care” lens is set to replicate the look produced when drivers let the wind sweep through their hair behind the wheel of a Jeep Wrangler. Needless to say, the simulated hairdo is anything but neat and tidy.

Whenever Snapchat users raise their eyebrows, the hair featured in the filter begins to blow around wildly. Using the specialized Snapchat lens, users can duplicate the look that Jeep drivers achieve every time they head out off road.

Because who doesn’t want to virtually experience a bad hair day?

The filtering fun doesn’t have to end on 4×4 Day either. Jeep has announced that the lens can be activated by scanning Snapchat QR codes provided to fans during different Jeep events now through October.

Jeep similarly turned to Snapchat last year during the first 4×4 Day. The first collaboration between the two companies produced Jeep-sponsored geofilters for the app.

Of course, you don’t have to be a Snapchat user to celebrate Jeep 4×4 Day. The Jeep-created holiday can also be celebrated through other social channels, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Furthermore, Jeep assembled a collection of videos and photos created by Jeep enthusiasts and compiled them into one video. You can view the “Today Was Made For Adventure” short film below:

So if you want to recreated the look of a driver behind the wheel of a Jeep Wrangler, or the look of someone attending a Van Halen concert, then Jeep and Snapchat have you covered today.
