The Porsche 918 Spyder is a super-exclusive supercar with a hybrid powertrain that is, at the risk of sounding redundant, pretty super. Capable of rocketing from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.2 seconds and able to run a 9.8-second quarter mile at 145 mph, this is not your average green vehicle.
Porsche is producing just 918 of these gorgeous models, and sadly, they’re already spoken for – so if you were planning to spend $847,975 on a new car, you’ll have to look elsewhere. But that doesn’t mean you can’t admire the car’s craftsmanship, which is showcased in the new Porsche 918 Spyder assembly video that the automaker recently posted to YouTube as a late Christmas gift to auto enthusiasts the world over.
