This Saturday, October 25th, Corvette fans and Halloween haunters alike should check out the National Corvette Museum Monster Mash at the museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The event is free, though separate from museum tours. But who are we kidding? If you trek out to the National Corvette Museum for a kids’ Halloween party, you’re going to want to stick around and check out the museum. And what better time, since the sinkhole exhibit is soon closing to begin restoration?

National Corvette Museum Monster Mash

The National Corvette Museum Monster Mash will be held on Saturday, October 25th, 2014.

The National Corvette Museum Monster Mash will include a Trunk or Treat with collector cars under the Conference Center canopy. There will also be free arts and crafts for everyone to enjoy. In addition, the museum will offer a number of pay-to-play carnival games. It’s 50 cents a game, but kids will walk away with prizes. Games include the following, among others:

  • Bean Bag Toss
  • Carnival Can Bean Bag Toss
  • Duck Pond
  • Ghost Fishing
  • Pinko (maybe Plinko?)
  • Pin the Eyes on Jake
  • Ring Toss
  • Spinner Game

The National Corvette Museum Monster Mash will also include hair spray paint, finger nail painting, face painting, and pumpkin painting, all of which require varying amounts of tickets.

The museum will also host a costume contest for kids at 11am with prizes. The age groups are divided into 0 – 2, 3 -5, 6 – 8, and 9 – 12. There will also be a prize for Best Homemade Costume. DJ Tim Livingston will provide live Halloween music.

The event runs from 10am – 12pm.
