It’s no secret that Jeep is planning on replacing its two compact SUVs—the Compass and Patriot—in the fall with a single, brand-new model. The big secret has been what this new model, which many are unofficially calling the Compatriot, will look like. Now, it seems that the cat is out of the bag.

Yup, you read that right. We now have a glimpse of the Compass/Patriot replacement without any camo—and it’s a beauty.

The crossover was captured on film in Brazil by Autoo, a Brazilian automotive news website. While it doesn’t stand out from the Jeep lineup like the subcompact Renegade does, this compact model is certainly stylish. It has Jeep’s classic front fascia and a sleek body that looks similar to the Grand Cherokee. This model is smaller, though, with a lower roofline and a sophisticated two-toned roof design. It appears to be the Limited trim level of the model, which would explain why it doesn’t look as ready to take on the unbeaten path, but despite its lack of ruggedness, this SUV is still awesome.

Jeep’s new model, which will be labeled a C-SUV around the world, is based on a slightly bigger Small Wide 4×4 platform. This is the same platform used for the Renegade and the Fiat 500X. The Jeep’s power will come from either a 2.0-liter turbo or a 2.4-liter engine and will be available with either front- or all-wheel drive.

This beautiful model will be officially debuted later this month in Brazil, eventually making its way to the United States at the LA Auto Show in November. It’s set to hit the market in early 2017. If you want more of a glimpse, make sure you check out Autoo’s gallery here.
