The first of three “Rainbow PUSH Money Matters sponsored by Chevrolet” workshops will be held at Wayne State University from 9 am to 1 pm on Thursday, October 8th in conjunction with the PUSH Automotive Summit. The second will take place on Halloween from 11 am to 2 pm at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Atlanta, and the third will run from 9 am to 2 pm on November 6th at Rainbow PUSH HQ in Chicago.

“For over forty years, the Rainbow PUSH Coalition has been committed to leveling the social and economic playing field in this country and around the world,” said the Reverend Jesse L. Jackson, Sr., founder and president of the Rainbow PUSH Coalition.

“The next phase of this movement will involve a comprehensive, national empowerment campaign aimed at helping to improve the quality of financial health. This exciting partnership with Chevrolet will help us get there.”

Aspects of the workshops will be taught by public- and private-sector financial experts. Chevrolet and Rainbow PUSH aim to have participants walk away with a better sense of what steps need to be taken to ensure financial stability for the future.
