Alright. We’ve seen the design. We know horsepower and torque. We know the engine and transmission design. We know available packages. Now, we can finally announce that we know the 0-60 time for the 2014 Corvette Stingray!

Chevrolet confirms that the 2014 Corvette Stingray equipped with the Z51 Performance Package will be able to accelerate from 0 to 60 miles-per-hour in an incredible time of 3.8 seconds. This seventh-generation Corvette with the Z51 package will include an electronic limited-slip differential, special cooling systems for the brakes, rear differential and transmission and an aero package that helps high-speed stability.

The 2014 Corvette Stingray is powered by a direct-injected 6.2-liter V8 engine with the ability to deliver 455 horsepower and 460 lb-ft. of torque. The V8 will be paired with a seven-speed manual transmission with automatic rev-matching or an available six-speed automatic gearbox.

Look for the seventh-generation iconic Stingray available at dealerships beginning this September.
