If you missed out on “National Doughnut Day” (it was June 7) and didn’t get to eat any doughnuts, the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 may be able to help you celebrate.

General Motors had their version of a “professional donut maker” whip up a batch of doughnuts at the Milford Proving Grounds.

While these doughnuts may not taste as sweet, the sound is delicious! Feast your eyes and ears on this sweetness:

Watch as this Camaro ZL1 Celebrates National Doughnut Day equipped with a 6.2-liter LSA V8 that produces 580 horsepower.

National Doughnut Day was started by the Salvation Army in 1938 to honor the women volunteers who handed out meals (including doughnuts) to soldiers on the front lines during World War I.

Mark your calendar for the first Friday in June each year so you don’t forget National Doughnut Day!
