Chevrolet ended 2014 with a positively huge final push, adding 184,938 deliveries to knock its total-year tally past the 2 million unit mark. The Camaro made one final push to reclaim its title as America’s best-selling pony car, the Corvette and Spark notched their best December ever, and the Colorado doubled down.

The Silverado added 57,837 units (+35.8% year-over-year) to its total through the first 11 months of the year, crossing the 500,000 vehicle threshold as 2014 came to a close.  The Equinox was Chevrolet’s second-best-selling vehicle in December with 21,298 deliveries (+23.7% year-over-year).

Also enjoying a big year was the Camaro, with 6,628 deliveries securing its status as the reigning pony car champion for 2014. The Corvette experienced its best December ever with 3,552 deliveries, and the Spark also notched a December best with 3,007 deliveries.

Other bright spots for Chevrolet in December include the Tahoe with 11,259 deliveries (+30.2% year-over-year), Impala with 13,088 deliveries (+23.1% year-over-year), Malibu with 16,817 deliveries (+8.5% year-over-year), Traverse with 8,654 deliveries (+10.9% year-over-year), and Suburban with 6,761 deliveries (+16.2% year-over-year).

One of the most impressive numbers in December came from the 2015 Colorado. Motor Trend’s 2015 Truck of the Year nearly doubled its sales number with 4,037 deliveries in December, bringing its total for 2014 to 8,003 since first arriving at dealerships in late September.

Perhaps the biggest takeaway from December: two people helped themselves to a new Chevy Avalanche. Two people. You hear that, Chevrolet? People still want it, so make it happen.
