“The act of play is a fundamental human need that transcends cultures and impacts all ages,” said Alan Batey, General Motors executive vice president, Global Chevrolet.  “Joyful play is the fuel of ingenuity and imagination for children and adults alike, driving a sense of what is possible.”

During the course of the campaign, fans’ answers to the question ‘What do you #PlayFor?’ will be featured at www.chevroletfc.com.

In order to bring the power and joy of play to underprivileged children around the world, Chevrolet and One World Futbol Project are coming together to donate more than 1.5 million ‘nearly’ indestructible soccer balls to organizations working in developing communities.

Keep an eye out – you’ll see several announcements and opportunities for fan engagement throughout the year, including a Chevrolet-branded Manchester United match shirt, revealed in July. We think the ‘What do you #PlayFor?’ campaign is a fantastic opportunity for Chevrolet and Soccer fans around the world to support a good cause.
