Little Caesars Arena Detroit ChevyGeneral Motors has always called Detroit home, through the good times and the bad. The automaker often does many good work around the community and works hard to support the attractions and entertainment that make the city special. In its latest effort to both promote its vehicles and support Michigan, Chevrolet and Olympia Entertainment announced that the brand would not only continue as the official vehicle of the Detroit Red Wings hockey team, but as the vehicle sponsor of the new Little Caesars Arena as well.

The Little Caesars Arena will be the home of the Detroit Red Wings when it opens before the 2017-2018 season. As the hockey season is a relatively small portion of the year, the facility will also host many concerts, family shows, community events, and other forms of entertainment.

“We have enjoyed a fantastic relationship with the Detroit Red Wings and it was an honor for Chevrolet to celebrate the historic final season with the team and the fans at Joe Louis Arena,” said Paul Edwards, U.S. vice president of Chevrolet Marketing. “We look forward to continuing to support the Red Wings and the revitalization of our hometown, the City of Detroit, as a landmark partner in the new Little Caesars Arena — a perfect complement to our partnership with the Detroit Tigers and presence at Comerica Park.”

Chevrolet’s partnership with the arena will be evident throughout the new space. The northeast entrance to the space will be adorned by the bowtie and an artistic rendering of a red Chevy on a track. This placement is especially appropriate as this entrance faces out towards the iconic Woodward Avenue. On the west side of the arena, Chevrolet Plaza will be another space for community events and concerts outfitted with a big video screen.

As the estimated Little Caesars Arena opening day in September 2017 draws closer, we will keep you in the loop about the fun Chevy-branded experiences coming to the space.
