Chevrolet Silverado HD, Tahoe Nab Segment Honors in 2018 KBB Best Resale Value Awards

In the midst of celebrating 100 years of Chevy Trucks, and not long after the reveal of the long-awaited 2019 Chevrolet Silverado, Kelley Blue Book has found that two 2018 Chevrolet trucks ranked among the industry’s overall top 10 vehicles in the 2018 KBB Best Resale Value Awards. Two Chevrolet vehicles, the Silverado HD and Tahoe, also topped their respective segments for resale value.

The 2018 Chevrolet Silverado ranked No. 6 on the list with an estimated 57.6% of its original value retained after 36 months and 50.4% retained at 60 months. Ranked at No. 8 on the list, the 2018 Chevrolet Colorado proved to retain even more of its value at 36 months at 60.5%, and retained a respectable 47.5% of its value at 60 months. Colorado has appeared on KBB’s Best Resale Value Top 10 every year since its triumphant return to the United States in 2014.

The 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe eeked out a victory over the 2018 GMC Yukon for Best Resale Value in the full-size SUV/crossover segment, with an estimated 55.3% of original value at 36 months and 41.3% at 60 months. The 2018 Chevrolet Silverado HD also bested a GMC competitor, topping the 2018 Sierra HD with 61.8% of its value at 36 months and 56.4% of its value at 60 months.
