In an automotive environment where subcompact cars are losing more of their market share with each passing year, the Chevrolet Spark has continues to stand out as a leader in the segment. Chevrolet recently announced some changes to the Chevy Spark lineup that it hopes will increase the popularity of the mini-car.

The 2019 Chevrolet Spark will adopt a new look are receive new features when it arrives at dealerships later this year.

As with many of the passenger cars in Chevrolet’s current lineup, the Chevrolet Spark will receive an updated front fascia for the 2019 model year. Adopting a look to better match the rest of Chevrolet’s lineup, the Spark adds updated headlamps and chic chrome styling to its grille.

The 2019 Chevrolet Spark will also come offered in the ACTIV trim model. Said trim level adds 10 millimeters of ride height to the Spark that is designed to appeal to crossover-adoring consumers.

The Chevy Spark will still come offered with the available Driver Confidence Package, with features like Forward Collision Alert and Lane Departure Warning. For the 2019 model year, Chevy is adding Low Speed Forward Automatic Braking to that safety package.

Other available features for the 2019 Chevrolet Spark include Chevrolet infotainment system, complete with compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Safety features like 10 airbags and a rear vision camera come standard with every Spark vehicle.

The redesigned 2019 Chevrolet Spark is set to arrive at dealerships later this year, alongside refreshed 2019 models of both the Chevrolet Cruze and the Chevrolet Malibu.
