Chevrolet Ute Force delivered complete soccer kits—including socks, shoes, shorts, shorts, and One World Futbols—to six schools north of Pretoria last month. Then, to put all of that new gear to good use, the teams were all treated to a full day of soccer clinics at Sun Valley Primary School.

This was part of a soccer development program run by Dreamfields Project and supported by the Department of Basic Education. During the past three years, similar clinics have been provided to students in nine different provinces.

“We reach so many communities through the beautiful game of soccer and young children are given the opportunity to realize their football potential and prowess,” said Tim Hendon, Chevrolet Brand Manager.

“You can only bring your dreams closer if you work at it, each day, every day. And you can only grow football dreams if you play all the time,” said John Perlman, CEO and founder of Dreamfields. “The children we work with at Dreamfields simply don’t want to stop playing. And thanks to Chevrolet they now have a football that is as strong and durable as their dreams will need to be.”

Chevrolet Ute Force has impacted 130 different schools since 2013; Chevrolet South Africa has distributed in excess of 60,000 One World Futbols as part of the Chevrolet One World Play Project.
