Chevrolet Vietnam Sells 10,000th vehicle in 2017

In December, Chevrolet Vietnam celebrated the sale of 10,000 vehicles on the year and the 1,000th vehicle sold at its leading Chevrolet NewWay dealership in Hanoi. To commemorate the occasion, Chevy Vietnam handed over the keys to a new Chevrolet Colorado Centennial Edition—the 10,000th vehicle delivered on the year—to customer Hoa Xuan Dang.

“GM Vietnam has always focused on ensuring the best ownership experience for our customers. Our strong growth over the years is a testament to the trust that consumers have in Chevrolet. We extend our sincere gratitude to all of our customers for their unparalleled support,” said General Motors Vietnam Director of Sales and Marketing Le Thanh Hai.

“At GM, we sell more than products; we sell experiences,” Hai added. “Preeminent infotainment and safety technologies and features have been built into our vehicles to ensure an outstanding driving experience. Our network of 3S dealerships that meet world-class standards has also been expanded to serve the increasing demands of customers for Chevrolet products and service.”

The new Chevrolet Colorado Centennial Edition, which celebrates 100 years of Chevrolet trucks, was launched in November 2017. The Colorado has been a key product in Chevrolet’s growth in Vietnam, tripling its 2014 sales total in 2015 and doubling that total in 2016. Colorado was the second-best-selling pickup in Vietnam for seven months in 2017.

Since coming to Vietnam in 2011, Chevrolet has sold approximately 75,000 vehicles, including the likes of Cruze and Spark.
