General Motors Korea announced this week that deliveries of the all-new Chevy Cruze are slated to begin starting on March 13th. Production of the new sedan resumed on Tuesday at the Gunsan Assembly Plant.

Chevrolet has also announced more details on how much customers can expect to pay for their new Cruzes. The LS trim will start at a retail price of KRW 16.9 million, the LT trim will start at KRW 19.99 million, the LT DLX will start at KRW 21.51 million, the LTZ will start at KRW 23.08 million, and the LTZ DLX will start at KRW 23.49 million.

“We are taking the competition head-on,” said James Kim, president and CEO of GM Korea. “The all-new Chevrolet Cruze will shake up its segment with its design, performance, safety features, and aggressive new price. We expect this uncompromising pricing strategy to enable more consumers to experience for themselves the excitement and value of the all-new Cruze.”

Chevy says that more than 2,000 customers have signed on to purchase the Cruze since its launch earlier this year. The new Cruze is being marketed around its handsome interior and athletic exterior aesthetic; a body structure that is up to 110 kilograms lighter than the outgoing model; cutting-edge technologies including the latest version of Chevrolet MyLink; and a suite of active safety features up to and including Side Blind Spot Alert, Lane Keep Assist, and Forward Collision Alert.

Chevrolet Korea has set an annual sales target of 194,000 units and a goal of double-digit domestic market share for 2017.
