As Official Vehicle of Major League Baseball® (which it has been since 2005), Chevrolet gave Mike Trout a Corvette Stingray. Trout, who was the 2014 Ted Williams MLB All-Star Game Most Valuable Player, had a choice between the 2014 North American Car of the Year (the Stingray) and the 2014 North American Truck of the Year (Silverado). We think he made the right choice.

A second Corvette Stingray will be put up for auction at ChevyBaseball.com. The Stingray’s hood was autographed by the game’s all-star players and coaches, but it will also come with a factory original hood for driving. All proceeds will go to charity. Bidding on the charity Stingray will stay open until 5pm EDT on August 1.
