The Oscars may have come and gone, but awards season hasn’t quite ended, and Chevrolet is going to make the most of it while there’s still time left. After earning three awards from the recent J.D. Power Dependability Study (and ranking tenth overall among all auto brands), Chevy has scored another coup by having the Impala named Best Large Sedan on the recent Consumer Reports 10 Top Picks of 2015 list.

The consumer advocacy publication—which rated vehicles based on performance, reliability and safety—chose the Chevy Impala as the best Large Car on the market, writing that the model is no longer “synonymous with the image of a bad rental car.”

Not all of the compliments were quite so backhanded, though. Consumer Reports also praised the vehicle’s comfort, convenience, and affordability.

“Make no mistake, this Impala humbles the Toyota Avalon and even the Lexus ES 350,” the website claimed. “Large and roomy, the Impala has comfortable seats and rides like a true luxury car. The suspension is supple yet responsive, without the body roll that plagues many big cars.”

One catch: apparently only the V6 version of the Impala met Consumer Reports’ reliability standards.
