If you haven’t heard by now, J.D. Power today released the list of winners from its 2014 Initial Quality Study℠. Three Chevrolet vehicles managed to rank highest in their selective segments this year.

The 2014 Malibu took first in the midsize car category, and the 2014 Suburban tied the Yukon for first in the large SUV segment. Meanwhile, the 2014 Silverado HD was ranked first for the second year in a row in the large heavy duty pickup category.

In addition, three Chevy vehicles ranked in the top three in their respective segments: the Camaro (midsize sporty), the Equinox (compact SUV), and the Tahoe (large SUV).

“Our primary focus at Chevrolet is on the customer, and building quality products is top priority for keeping that focus,” said Brian Sweeney, U.S. vice president, Chevrolet. “Taking high honors in quality studies like this is great reinforcement to show we are doing just that.”
