Chevy to Offer the 2015 Corvette Z06 in Mexico
Our neighbors south of the border just got some news sure to make their Christmas season even brighter: Chevy has plans to offer the 2015 Corvette Z06 in Mexico sometime next year. The performance-engineered Z06 will be offered at various Chevrolet Performance Stores.

These stores will also sell the Camaro ZL1 and the C7 Corvette Stingray.
Mexico is an ideal location for performance models such as the Z06 and Stingray. Wealthy drivers will be eager to push the Corvettes to their limits on the country’s trying desert roadways.
According to General Motors, the 2015 Corvette Z06 offered in Mexico will be powered by the same 6.2-liter supercharged V8 LT4 engine that we find under the hood here in the States. The V8 pumps out 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. It is not yet clear, however, if the eight-speed automatic transmission will be offered in Mexico.
Chevrolet has not yet specified a price or specific launch and distribution dates. We expect more information by the end of this year or early in the first quarter of 2015.
