The 2015 Chevy Colorado is also the industry’s fastest-selling pickup for four consecutive months now, spending an average of just 13 days on dealership lots before being sold.

“Chevrolet has the hot hand in the pickup market thanks to our three-truck strategy,” said Kurt McNeil, GM’s US vice president of Sales Operations. “Our market share is growing and our strategy is to retain these customers with the best overall ownership experience.”

The news was also good for Chevy’s crossovers, which had their best ever May last month. Year-over-year sales of the Equinox increased 30%, while the Traverse rose 2%. With 5,705 deliveries, the all-new Chevy Trax is continuing to make considerable gains, as well.
