Chevy Teams with USWNT to Craft Inspiring #SheBelieves Video

Chevy and USWNT partner for #SheBelieves video

In addition to being the official shirt of Manchester United, Chevrolet is also an official partner of US soccer here at home.

So when the United States women’s national soccer team (USWNT) started the #SheBelieves movement to empower its legions of female fans, the bowtie brand got in on the act by creating this inspirational video of their own.

The brief video features images of female athletes, mothers, students, and more, who are shown pursuing their chosen fields. The film is overlaid by a poetic narration that encourages women to never give up on their dreams.

“Chevrolet is honored to team up with the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team to deliver a powerful message of #SheBelieves,” the company said in a statement. “The goal is to empower young females to be the greatest, most authentic version of themselves. They want young girls to know that they can be the best at whatever they want to be. They should never give up no matter what obstacles stand in their way. We encourage them to look ahead into the future and start kicking down those doors.”

The #SheBelieves campaign has been in full swing since 2015. In March of this year, Team USA defeated England, France, and Germany to win the inaugural SheBelieves Cup.

The USWNT remains the world’s top-ranked team, though they were upset by Sweden in the quarterfinals of this year’s Olympics. It marked the first time the team has not played in a gold medal match.
