Chevy’s New Social Media Manager Has Ties to Ford and Chrysler

Craig Daitch is Chevy’s new social media manager, and he brings with him experience from the brand’s two biggest domestic competitors: Ford and Chrysler. Though Daitch is now fully committed to Chevy as the Senior Manager for Social Media, he previously worked as Vice President of Digital Marketing Strategy at SapientNitro, where he worked on the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles account. Before that, managed Ford’s social media.

According to Automotive News, Daitch will be responsible for generating social media content focused on new vehicle launches, as well as the brand’s communication initiatives and the ever-exciting racing goings-on.

“In an always-on world, everything communicates,” Daitch commented. “Social media has changed the way the automotive industry approaches access to their brand, their business and the consumers they seek to build relationships with.”

Look out for Daitch’s first moves on Chevy’s social media platforms in the coming months.
