The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica is going to be a star, thanks to NBCUniversal. Chrysler’s new minivan is joining in a partnership with Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment to launch The Secret Life of Pets, a new film that will arrive in theaters on July 8th.
This partnership will consist of a multi-platform campaign, which will star a variety of NBCUniversal’s talent, including Late Night with Seth Meyer’s host, Seth Meyers, and his dog Frisbee. Not only will it appear on the company’s networks and social platforms, but it will also appear on BuzzFeed and Fox Media from April 11th through July.

“The opportunity to partner with NBCUniversal to create engaging content featuring talent from across its diverse television network portfolio presented a strong media platform with incredible reach to tell the story of the all-new 2017 Chrysler Pacifica,” said Olivier Francois, Chief Marketing Officer for FCA-Global. “Leveraging the unprecedented level of functionality, versatility, and technology of the vehicle, including our UConnect theater, together with ‘The Secret Life of Pets,’ a film for mom, dad, and their children, is the perfect combination to introduce audiences to the all-new Chrysler Pacifica as the ultimate family vehicle.”
The content will not only feature the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica, but also showcase animation from The Secret Life of Pets. This new platform coincides with National Pet Day, which makes it the perfect time to engage potential viewers.
