Chrysler Group 2014 Best Retained Value Award Winners Announced
It’s award season in the world of cars, and the latest ones come straight out of Edmunds: the Best Retained Value Awards. Chrysler Group took home a fair amount of distinctions—one for Jeep, one for Dodge, and one for Ram. Drum roll please for the Chrysler Group 2014 Best Retained Value Award winners …
(No, seriously, give us a drum roll.)
And the winners are the 2014 Jeep Wrangler, the 2014 Dodge Challenger, and the 2014 Ram ProMaster.
- The Jeep Wrangler took top honors in the Compact SUV segment.
- The Dodge Challenger climbed to first in the Midsize/Large Coupe division.
- The Ram ProMaster earned its victory in the Commercial Van category.
“Chrysler Group is honored to accept these awards from Edmunds.com,” said Doug Betts, Senior Vice President, Quality, Chrysler Group LLC. “Great resale value reflects the strengthening of our brands and the improvements in the customer satisfaction and quality for these award winning products.”
A vehicle could be eligible for a 2014 Best Retained Value Award in one of three ways: a 2014 model could have been launched by the end of 2013; Edmunds could have at least three months of True Market Value data for the model; or a model had to have unit sales in February 2014 that were at least 20 percent of the average unit sales for the competing models in its segment.
