Chrysler’s Support of Hispanic MBAs Expands at NSHMBA
Chrysler already supports Hispanic communities by celebrating diversity and helping the next generation of Hispanic business men and women, but recently, Chrysler expanded their support even farther as they sponsored the National Society of Hispanic MBAs’ 24th Annual Conference and Career Expo. The Chrysler Foundation donated $75,000 to a scholarship program that supports MBA students with a Hispanic background.
Since 1986, The Chrysler Foundation actually has awarded an incredible amount of money—about $850,000—for scholarships for Hispanic students. “Driving change in our communities by supporting educational programs that inspire future leaders is a key focus of The Chrysler Foundation,” Jody Trapasso, Senior Vice President of External Affairs for Chrysler. “We are proud to partner with NSHMBA to help expand educational opportunities in the Hispanic community.”
Chrysler’s support of Hispanic MBAs is impressive and unparalleled in the car manufacturing industry. As proven by their contribution at NSHMBA, Chrysler takes this commitment to diversity very seriously. The Chrysler Foundation’s work is admirable and inspiring; many more companies should follow Chrysler’s lead.
