Back in December, Mazda launched a contest to design a digital livery for the release of the 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata (which is now available for download on Xbox One, along with three other MX-5 special editions).

The competition encouraged video game players to take the 1994 MX-5 Miata in Forza Horizon 2 and follow the in-game instructions to create a unique livery design for the body. The entrants were evaluated by a panel of judges, and the semi-finalists were taken to the South by Southwest Gaming Expo this week, with one of them being declared the winner. For months we’ve been excitedly waiting to see the champion design that takes home the grand prize.

Mazda has finally announced the winner at the SXSW Festival in Austin, TX: Jeff Reachard of Massachusetts.

Reachard’s design is undeniably slick. The muted teal patterns blend perfectly with the sleek white and aggressive raven streaks running across the top. Luckily, it’ll be a free download for Forza players.

For winning, Reachard will receive a 55-inch curved TV, audio music system, Xbox One Kinect console, and one MadCatz Racing Wheel (totaling around $3,499.95).

Did you miss out on Mazda’s livery contest? Don’t worry–the automaker has paired up with Forza Horizon 2 for another contest. Check out the details to learn how you can win your own 2016 Mazda MX-5!
