Lincoln continued its impressive stretch of year-over-year sales successes in October by posting sales totaling 9,069 units and increasing sales 6.9% from October 2015. Unsurprisingly, Lincoln’s latest vehicles led the charge with strong sales, making the likelihood of 100,000+ units delivered in the United States all but guaranteed.

Lincoln’s all-new Continental led the way with an impressive full-month showing of 1,222 units delivered. This was nearly 30% than 2015’s October sales for the MKS, delivering on the promise of rejuvenated interest in Lincoln cars. The MKS, meanwhile, managed sales of 325 units.

Additionally, the all-new MKZ accounted for 2,481 units and a 3.1% year-over-year sales increase. Combined sales of the MKZ, Continental, and MKZ totaled 4,028 units, 40.6% better than the 2,864 cars Lincoln delivered in October 2015. Through 10 months, Lincoln car sales are up 2.3% with 31,987 units delivered, doubly impressive given the industry’s trending toward crossovers and SUVs.

As for Lincoln SUVs, sales dipped 10.3% with 5,041 units delivered. The Lincoln MKX was up 4.1% with 2,279 units delivered, bringing its year-to-date sales total just shy of 25,000 units. Sales of all other Lincoln SUVs were down, with the MKC sliding 3.3% at 1,916 units; Navigator sales dropping 39.8% at 598 units; and MKT deliveries down 45.6% at 248 units. Through 10 months, sales of Lincoln SUVs are up 12.4% at 57,517 units.

Through October, Lincoln’s sales in the United States total 89,504 units, up 8.6% from its total through the first ten months of last year.
