Costco Teams Up with Chevy to Offer Special-Edition Silverado
The Costco Wholesale Corporation has partnered with American automaker Chevrolet in order to offer its members a special-edition version of the 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTZ Crew Cab.
This Silverado will be available for order from April 1st through May 31st or until all 5,000 of the special-edition pickups are completely sold out. Costco members will be able to purchase the vehicle at a reduced cost, as the vehicles are being sold at GM preferred supplier prices. Members will also be offered qualifying manufacturer rebates and incentives. Furthermore, Costco is throwing in a $1,000 allowance and a $1,000 gift card for those people who complete the survey after placing their order for the Silverado.

The special-edition Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTZ Crew Cab will come equipped with limited-edition 22-inch chrome wheels, while the interior will feature a Bose premium audio system, navigation, and heated and cooled seats.
The truck will be powered by a 5.3-liter V8 engine rated at 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. Consumers have the choice between a two-wheel or four-wheel drive system. This unique Silverado will be on display at select Costco warehouses throughout the United States, as well as being available at more than 3,000 Chevy dealerships nationwide.
While the Costco Auto Program has been around for more than 25 years, this is the first time it’s partnering with a manufacturer to sell a particular vehicle.
Costco members who take advantage of this offer and place an order for this Chevy will have to wait between six and eight weeks for their truck to be built.
