Courtney Love Live Tweets About French Protesters Destroying Her Car
As the anti-Uber protests heat up in France over the perceived favoritism given to the private chauffeur service, American musician Courtney Love got stuck right in the middle of the violence and was forced to watch the car she was riding in be destroyed by angry protesters.
Lucky for us Love decided to live Tweet the intense situation.
Dude @kanyewest we may turn back to the airport and hide out with u.picketers just attacked our car #ParisUberStrike pic.twitter.com/MtanurybOO

The protesters would not allow for Love’s car to turn around though, so the musician continued tweeting.
they’ve ambushed our car and are holding our driver hostage. they’re beating the cars with metal bats. this is France?? I’m safer in Baghdad

Love then sent a profanity laced tweet asking why France’s President François Hollande did not have police attending to the situation and wanted to know why the President was allowing his people to attack tourists. Love quickly came up with an escape plan.
paid some guys on motorcycles to sneak us out, got chased by a mob of taxi drivers who threw rocks, passed two police and they did nothing

Love then posted this video of the intense situation to her Instagram page.

Love then posted one last message thanking those motorcyclists for getting her to safety. She escaped the event unharmed, but the same cannot sadly be said for her vehicle.
