Crazy Diamond Performance Offers Chevy Cruze CNG
Natural gas vehicles haven’t quite caught on here in the United States, despite the cost of natural gas being so much cheaper—and a domestic product. Crazy Diamond Performance, a company based out of Michigan, however, sees the merit in compressed natural gas-powered vehicles, and has designed a Chevy Cruze CNG to prove they have a place in the American market.
The best part? The company can offer the Chevy Cruze CNG at just under $26,000. The CNG model is powered by a four-cylinder engine with 130 horsepower and can get up to 250 miles on a full tank. For $28,000, drivers can get a turbocharged Chevy Cruze CNG.
While the company has not yet gotten an EPA certification for its mileage, it’s in the works. Crazy Diamond Performance will also offer a 100,000-mile powertrain warranty on the CNG model. The company has a stated planned arrival of October 1st of this year.
