Custom Dale Earnhardt Chevy Colorado Auctioned Off for $48,400
Some NASCAR fans like to pay tribute to the late, great Dale Earnhardt by slapping a #3 with angel wings decal sticker on the back of their pickup truck and calling it a day. But one true fan at the recent Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach auto auction just spent $48,400 on the ultimate Earnhardt memorial: a one-of-a-kind 2015 Chevy Colorado Dale Earnhardt tribute truck.
The custom Colorado was commissioned by Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet in Newton, North Carolina. It features the same distinctive silver, red, and black paint job that Earnhardt’s iconic GM Goodwrench stock car utilized, as well as #3 decals, and, to make it truly unique, the signatures of Dale’s family members.

Earnhardt’s wife Teresa, his daughter Taylor, and his mother Martha all autographed the special Chevy Colorado, which also features a reproduction of Earnhardt’s own signature on the corner of the bed.
The custom Dale Earnhardt 2015 Chevy Colorado is equipped with a 3.6-liter V6 engine, and has less than 100 miles on the odometer. In the spirit of Dale Earnhardt, hopefully the tribute truck’s new owner has a lot of fun putting a lot more miles on it.
